‘Roll The Dice’ with Bart Skils’ Latest Drumcode EP

On the hunt for two new tunes from the mind of Bart Skils? He’s delivered just that with the release of Roll The Dice on Drumcode.

While much of Bart Skils‘ focus this week was the happenings during Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, that wasn’t all that this techno artist had in store for fans. After remaining fairly quiet on the release front since the end of 2022 with the release of Horsepower, he surprised everyone with the release of his latest two-tracker that’s landed on Drumcode, Roll The Dice.

The title track opens this trip into the depths of the techno realm as Bart Skils delivers a rolling bassline that’s filled with reverb and an Arabic vocal layered in for good measure that will leave you hypnotized. This one is yet another stunner from the Dutch artist that was clearly made with massive stages in mind and is sure to get your feet moving right along with it. Then, Bart Skils lifts everyone “Into The Clouds” for the second track. While there’s a lighter atmosphere found within its runtime as he leans into his Balearic-influenced side, this one is still absolutely stunning with its dreamy, trance-like nature that you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

The Drumcode regular had rinsed both tracks on this EP in past sets, with Adam Beyer often playing the latter of the two in Ibiza during last year’s season, and they were surely heard during his sets this past week in Miami. “[I’m] so proud of these heavy rolling dancefloor weapons, and they make crowds go crazy everywhere you play it. Enjoy, and happy to share it with you now,” Bart Skils posted to Instagram when celebrating the release of Roll The Dice.
